The brief was to create a visual identity that was minimal, clean, vibrant and reflected the artisan, handmade nature of the hummus.
To reflect the no-nonsense feeling of the brand, we kept the packaging super simple. I hand drew vegetables to be used on each variety of hummus – instantly appealing to the customer by communicating the handmade, innovative flavours of the hummus. The neat thin lines hold the illustration together, while the watercolour brush strokes keep them looking – Moist!
I kept the design of the website minimal and white, letting the colours of the vegetables do the talking. Elements such as vibrant brush strokes on buttons keep the branding consistent. They needed to put a lot of information on the site so I ensured that it was easy to navigate and users could get the information they needed in as few clicks as possible.
